The Journey
In the last five years, SASMOS has been relentlessly focusing on R&D in line with the Government of India’s ‘Make-in-India’ initiative and is proud to introduce AVIRATA, a SASMOS Defence Systems Division at Aerospace SEZ Facility for design, development, qualification, and manufacturing of Electronics/ Electrical/Electro-mechanical Systems, Embedded Systems, Mission Critical System with team capability of hardware design, software & firmware development, qualification & prototyping for MIL, Space, Nuclear standard Customized Product solutions.
SASMOS has two manufacturing facilities located in India and one in the UK. While the facility at Whitefield, Bangalore caters to the requirements of the Indian Customers, SASMOS is in the process of building a 300,000 Sq ft production facility at Aerospace SEZ, Bangalore, to support global Customers, of which phase-1 of 70,000 Sq ft is operational.
SASMOS has recently acquired West wire Harnessing Limited of UK, a 10,000sq. ft facility, employing 35 associates. It specializes in the design and manufacturing of ruggedised wiring harnesses and electromechanical products for the global defence, aerospace, marine, and rail markets.
