JS Autocast Foundry India (JSA), a specialist in Ductile Iron (DI) castings, has carved a niche in the fragmented Indian foundry industry. Amidst a plethora of foundries scattered across the country, JSA stands out with its unwavering commitment to quality and customer satisfaction. The company's success in a dynamic and demanding industry is a testament to its dedication and passion for excellence.
Founded in 2004 in Coimbatore, India, JS Autocast Foundry India (JSA) quickly established itself as a leader in Ductile Iron (DI) castings. The company's initial focus on cast manifolds for automotive applications soon expanded to include a wider range of products and customers. JSA's commitment to quality and innovation was evident in its early investments in manpower, CNC machining capabilities, and TS 16949 certification. This enabled the company to offer comprehensive solutions to OEMs, including fully finished castings and sub-assemblies.
JSA's growth trajectory continued in 2016 with the introduction of thermal spraying and the attainment of ISO 14001 and 18001 certifications. In 2019, the company inaugurated a fully automatic foundry equipped with high-pressure moulding lines, marking a significant expansion in its capacity. Today, as a wholly owned subsidiary of Bharat Forge, JSA boasts an impressive foundry capacity of 120,000 MTPA and machining capabilities with over 120 CNC machines.

Leveraging the R&D support from Bharat Forge, JSA is establishing its own research and development centre to develop cutting-edge casting technologies, such as Austempered ductile iron (ADI). JSA's strategic direction is focused on diversifying beyond traditional foundry products. This alignment is aimed at enabling JSA to deliver integrated solutions and strengthen its position as a leading provider of high-quality castings and sub-assemblies.
"In the past two years, we've added new Moulding lines and CNC machines. Our recent acquisition has boosted our production capacity to 1.2 lakh metric tons, a remarkable leap from our 2004 capacity of just 1800 tons. This journey has brought immense satisfaction, and we look forward to achieving more remarkable milestones in the future", concluded Sreeramachandra Murthy.
