The Indian formwork market has witnessed considerable growth in the past two decades. Primary factor fuelling the growth of the formwork industry in India can be attributed to the government focus & initiative on creating a world class transportation infrastructure in our country in a time bound fashion. Well-designed formwork systems are slowly becoming the norm now due to focus on timely execution of projects, & availability of state of the art knowhow, placement & handling equipment in the country. However, the formwork industry is still failing at providing well-designed, safe & economical formwork solutions with good quality of fabrication suitable to provide consistently good finish with adequate repetitive uses.
Talking about the current market scenario, Pranav Sharma - Director Operations says, “Increasing reliance on precast construction in most of the transportation sector modes has changed the way a project is handled as it is no longer sequential construction. Both in precast & cast-in-situ methods, the use of well-designed formwork is becoming mandatory to achieve the desired results with safety, speed & finish quality. We at Himskaf Systems aim at differentiating our services through consistent policy of augmenting the capacity and resources in the organization to enable continuous technology up gradation to meet the growing demand of our valuable customers.”
Blending Cutting-edge Innovation with Competent Service
With a mission to provide the well engineered quality formwork systems which are user friendly, Himskaf has equipped the company organization with a specific structure, which controls all operations, so as to guarantee quality all through the manufacturing cycle.
The design, planning & manufacturing facilities are manned by a team of experienced engineers, departmental heads & plant head, under the overall leadership of the management. Subhash Sharma, Promoter and Director, an alumnus of IIT Kanpur and IIT Delhi mentions, “Zero tolerance towards poor quality is the business value we at Himskaf abide by. This starts right from the material procurement & preparation stage till the stage of loading & dispatch. QAP is strictly followed, helping our team of production & quality engineers ensure supervision at various stages, like dimensional correctness, fitment (in welding jigs, where required), assemble, mockup, painting, and dispatch.”
Future Plans
Himskaf witnessed a humble beginning with a very limited portfolio of international exporting partners in select countries. Slowly and eventually, the company expanded its offerings to both domestic and international infrastructure markets with an exhaustive list of products and services.
Quality is the business value we abide by at Himskaf

The Facility includes state-of-the-art press shops, machining shop, tooling facility, band saws, CNC plasma profile cutting, hydraulic shearing, bending & rolling machines as well as airless & spray painting machines.
Shedding light on recent developments & future plans for the company, Sharma shares, “There were some major setbacks during the last two years due to the pandemic but we have managed to soar through and are now looking at a minimum compounded growth of over 30% during the current & the next two years. With technological sophistication kicking in, & focus on speed, automation & safety as well as government commitment to create world class infrastructure, we expect the market to grow many fold in the near future. Himskaf Systems is confident & well placed to have its equitable share of this growth”.
