The size of the Indian MHE industry is estimated at around Rs 5,000 crore and is likely to grow at 20 percent year-on-year over the next five years, in keeping with overall economic growth. Due to the vast capital expenditure, the MHE industry wasn't gaining acceptance in the Asian market, especially in India, where labour costs are minimal. But now, times are changing slowly. With globalization hitting large markets like India, demand for native products has grown immensely in the international market. India is evolving as a vital market for material handling equipment, with the growth in the number of warehouses and container freight stations. This leads to the enhancement in demand for MHE. Most of the machineries available in the market require high maintenance and do not last long. Furthermore, their complexity makes them more difficult to use.
With their easy to use, high quality and low maintenance equipment, Eurosort has the perfect solution for the problem. Established in 2001; Eurosort is a sorting machine equipment manufacturer that understands the high-speed unit sortation market's needs and requirements. They provide their services across the world and India and to large enterprises and small companies that are making their first step towards automation. Kasper Stoffels, Marketing Director, Eurosort, says, "Our team has years of collective experience in the material handling industry and specializes in designing and manufacturing high-speed unit sortation systems using simple, efficient, space-saving designs at a higher quality, a lower price, and a smaller foot-print than our competitors."
Wide Array of Quality Sorting Machines
One of the key factors that differentiate Eurosort from the other industry players is the wide array of equipment they provide to their clients. They ensure that not only are these products of the highest quality, but they are long-lasting as well. "Our major differentiator is our product portfolio. With our five different sorters and many different
options and variations, we have a solution for a very large range of customers. Many of our products use patented technologies that none of our competitors use. Our tray design is unrivalled, and we deliver high-quality machines. Also, our machines are designed in such a way that they do not require high maintenance, and most of the maintenance can be done by the customer's own staff without any technological background", says Kasper.
Some of their key products include Split Tray Sorter, Cross Tray Sorters, Push Tray sorters, Push Bar sorters, and Sweeper sorters. These machines have simple designs and require very little maintenance. They are easy to install and user-friendly. Apart from their product ranges, Eurosort also invests heavily in their research and development to come up with products that meet their customers' demands.
Kasper says, "Our research and development team is continuously looking to improve the product for our customers. We have some of the best designers in the industry, and many customers have been surprised with the solutions that we come up with. Finally, it's our team and partners that make the difference. We provide great machines, but it is our people and our partners who key to the success of our company. Our team makes sure that the customers receive the best services."

Fulfilling Customer Requirements
Customers have always been the number one priority for Eurosort. All their machines and equipment are designed in a way to provide a hassle-free experience to their customers. “Our clients have a very specific process, and we like to look at what the problem is. When devising the step to automated sortation, that is often a capital investment, and you want to make sure what you buy will also be ready for future usage and gives you a return on investment. Our sorting machines are roughly 99 percent accurate, and we also want to calculate the return on investment for our customers. So, we make sure that when they buy a machine, they actually get a return on investment.” adds Kasper.
Their years of experience have enabled them to completely understand their clients' problems and deliver effective solutions accordingly. Kasper says, “We have been in the business for 20 years, and we work with customers from all over the world. We have worked with some of the largest organizations and also companies that took their first steps towards automation. We have really built up our portfolio. With our R&D and our tech department, we really make sure that our machines do what the customers need. Our machines, on average, run for 10 years.”
Roadmap Ahead
"We are currently growing rapidly. The global pandemic is working in our favour because the change from offline to online helps us. Many of the automation that we have planned will be put forward within the next five years. We will continue to develop our current product portfolio and develop solutions that help our customers. We really look forward to bringing a difference in our customers' process, which can be a really small change but can make a big difference for our customers. That's where we want to be, and that's what we will be focusing on in the next couple of years," concludes Kasper.
