CAC was established in 2008 as an extension of the parent company LRC Specialty Chemicals founded in 1966. From being the first to manufacture Lignin in India,it is also one of the earliest to diversify to make Sulphonated Naphthalene Formaldehyde on a global scale. Poly-Carboxylic Ether polymers with capacities exceeding 100000 TPA and counting.
CAC was started with a modest capacity of 12000 TPA with one location- Navi Mumbai. The company today owns and manages multiple plants across India, as well as one in the UAE. “Our collaboration with Oman’s largest concrete producer, Al Tasmin Concrete & Cement Products LLC employs a unique DIY approach in which they manufacture admixtures in-house using our technology and key material", says Managing Director, Satish Jaysankar.
2021 marks the commencement of the company’s ultra-modern, fully integrated manufacturing unit in Kolkata which is its gateway to the north east markets. It is also exploring Indore as its next location to set up a fully integrated facility to cater to central India.
The company is rapidly expanding the awareness of several performance enhancers that can improve the quality of cement by conducting trials in cement plants across the country and developing tailor-made solutions to these cement brands to improve the quality standards using its unique chemistry thereby improving the quality of construction in general.
