Founded in 1991, Chiramith Precision was mainly specialized in manufacturing wristwatch components. From the day of its inception, Chiramith Precision was the major component supplier for the Swiss watch industry. The manufacturer has turned parts with a diameter of 0.09 mm and drilled a hole of 0.125mm. Therefore, it is pretty evident that the company has great expertise in micro-precision turning. Today, the company is not only restricted to manufacturing wristwatch components, but it is manufacturing a wide variety of precision components that are used in several industries.

The precision industry is all about using state-of-the-art technology to turn components of various diameters. Chiramith Precision is equipped with high-end Swiss-type sliding head CAM driven machines which can turn up to 20mm diameter and CNC sliding head Fanuc controlled machines which range up to 52mm turning diameter. These machines give the flexibility to turn components of different diameters.
Further, with such high tech specifications of machines, the company is capable of mass production as well as prototyping of components. Chiramith Precision is also equipped with their in house CAM design and production that helps them to offer customized CAM solutions for different customers. The company further has its own in house drill manufacturing machines that help them to produce custom-made drill bits to cater for the requirements of customers from different industries. With the help of these high-end machines and a dedicated team, the company is offering mass volume precision products delivered on time.

Founded in 1991 by late B Ramachandra in Mangalore, Chiramith Precision has gained more than 30 years of experience in this industry. After returning from several years of training in Switzerland, Ramachandra started his cottage industry with just two machines in a small garage which was converted into a small workshop. This is where the journey began. Initially, the company used to export components to mainly Switzerland. But during the 2004 recession period, the market was unstable and it is then that the need for diversification of markets was felt the most. Since ISO is a must to diversify a company, in 2005 Chiramith got successfully ISO 9001: 2015 certified, and seeing an opportunity in the aerospace market, in 2019 December, Chiramith was EN 9100: 2018 (equivalent to AS 9100 D) certified successfully.
The main motto of the company is to become a one-stop workshop for precision and prototype manufacturing. To achieve the same, the company is eyeing at partnering with companies that function with similar mindsets and goals. The company wants to boost collective growth and enhance the production capacity by buying new assets and continual improvement.
