Customization is the specialty of Capaz Industries, with our specialized technical team we can custom make your required bags.”, says Yogesh Gaikwad Director.
Adding further Yogesh shares, “At Capaz Industries Pvt. Ltd. we are consistently driven towards producing consistent quality products while meeting the diverse packaging needs of our clients. Food packaging, poultry product packaging, agriculture product packaging, geotechnical packaging, etc. are a few of the noticeable industries, where polypropylene bags and sacks are used greatly. First point of contact of any product is through its packaging and the quality of bagging adds value to customer’s product insights. The firm manufactures bags ranging from 5 kilos to 50 kilos with quality delivered on time as their motto. Strength of the bag, printings on the surface and handling capability are prioritized as the customers always look for packaging that would carry the product value.
Stringent quality norms and bag by bag inspection through a well-trained team allows the company to deliver export quality bags and sacks. “At Capaz Industries, customer focus is the key to our success Initially. Earlier, we were doing 50,000 bags per day. Once we got into the market, some competitors were not able to provide good printing quality. So, we upgraded our machinery, we got a one-line printing machine, changed our recipe and our raw materials to improve the quality of service. Today, we are capable of making 30 lac bags per month ”, highlights Shekhar Gaikwad Director
Quality As A USP
Globally, all the polypropylene woven bags and sack companies use PP as the raw material. What sets Capaz Industries apart is their obsession with process control. The company has about 7 to 8 key process indicators which deliver data related to every fine detail of different work stations. “PP has now-a-days become a commodity but we try to get PP from mainly two suppliers. We don't change suppliers often. So, we know what they are delivering and each lot is checked twice by different operators.
According to the observation, we have a set of policies used based on the application. So, getting raw material checked and using it properly is one point. Then the fabric is checked for strength, we take weight and other details. There are around 7 to 8 parameters for quality checks. Printing is very crucial in a woven sack. It may make or break the company. If I talk about supply rejection, last month we didn't have any customer complaints or rejects once material is supplied”, briefs sharad purandare CBDO.
Capaz Industries, being customer centric, invests in troubleshooting and problem solving. Speaking about client experiences, Yogesh Gaikwad mentions, “One of our clients had a problem of visibility of print while stacking. So, if you stack a bag on a bag, around 20 feet, the printing will not be visible. We can't see which type of bag is there. So, we came up with printed product names in corners when they can see the bag. So the visibility issue was addressed.” Working with a work force of 150 members, managed by 20 executives, today, Capaz Industries has a blend of youth and experienced personnel, steering the firm to success.
One of the other clients of Capaz Industries was having issues related to transportation of sacks. “In India, people use hooks for transporting bags and sacks. There's one major challenge in manufacturing wherein you have to use hooks, else it hampers the productivity of labor or material handling capacity. We developed prospecting technology wherein without compromising on bag policies and without affecting products inside, we provided them harness where they can use hooks. So, it was a win-win situation for company as well as labor cycle”, explains Yogesh Gaikwad .
