India is one of the largest and fastestgrowing markets for consumer electronics in the Asia Pacific region. In 2021, the Indian PCB (Printed Circuit Board) market had a $3.8 billion valuation. The market will grow at a CAGR of 18.83 percent from 2021 to 2027, bringing the total value to $10.7 billion. Government programs like PLI, PMP, and MSIPS have drawn bigger electronic players, which in turn has increased demand for PCBs.
BPL is a pioneer in the manufacture of PCBs in India. The company has not only brought out world-class products but also cutting-edge manufacturing facilities that truly embody the country’s ‘Make in India’ philosophy. BPL established its PCB manufacturing facility in the 1980s with technical assistance from Sanyo Electric Company, Japan with the latest machinery at that time. Future Roadmap
The electronics segment itself is witnessing rapid advancements in design, cost reductions, miniaturization, and digital technologies, the PCB manufacturers need to constantly upgrade their facilities to meet these advanced technical requirements. The competition from overseas PCB manufacturers poses a significant threat to the Indian PCB industry, which is why there is so much pressure on them to invest in upgrades. As of now, BPL can service single, double, and multilayer PCBs up to 6 layers. The company plans to increase its investment in this area so that it may produce products with a greater number of layers and process modern materials. The vision of BPL is to become the most preferred PCB manufacturer for electronics manufacturers and would leave no stone unturned to delight its customers in terms of product quality, price, and delivery.
