Established in 1997, Axiom Energy Conversion Energy Conversion Ltd. spotted this opportunity as early in 2008 and entered in EV Components manufacturing. Axiom Energy Conversion has established itself as a supplier of EV chargers and DCDC converters, gaining a first-mover advantage in the nascent E-rickshaw segment. “Today, we command nearly 50 percent of the market in EV chargers and DC-DC converters, with a strong focus on product reliability and after-sales support”, says M J Purohit, Managing Director, Axiom Energy Conversion. These elements are critical to the livelihood of E-rickshaw drivers who depend on the uninterrupted operation of their vehicles.
Moreover, with the recent construction of a new manufacturing facility near the Hyderabad airport, backed by a ₹100 crore investment, the company is preparing to scale its operations. The facility will serve as a production hub for its Onboard EV chargers, DC-DC converters, and upcoming motor
controllers, furthering its ambition to lead in power train components for two and three-wheeler EVs and expand into export markets.

As the industry pivots toward more robust and weather-resistant products, the company is responding by innovating its R&D and product lines to incorporate waterproof chargers. This shift, driven by a growing client preference for durability, has enabled it to reduce product failure rates and enhance operational longevity, even in challenging outdoor conditions.
