An industrial furnace is a piece of equipment that provides heat for various industrial processes and has become a critical consideration across industries that require heat for material preparation, smelting, and many more. While adopting newer technologies and innovations, such as improved insulation materials, advanced combustion systems, and enhanced control systems, the Industrial Furnace and oven sector has evolved massively over the years, resulting in more optimized furnaces in terms of energy efficiency and functionalities. Even the consistent growth of various sectors, especially the automotive and food industries that rely heavily on heating processes, has been helping the industrial furnaces and oven sector experience tremendous growth.
Established in 2000 by Late Ajikumar, Aswathy Heat Tech (AHT) is a Bengaluru-based leading furnace manufacturing firm specializing in the manufacturing and designing of a wide range of high-quality industrial furnaces to serve diverse needs across various industries. Various factors, such as impressive production capacity, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility, expertise in precision engineering, efficient quality control processes, and adherence to industry standards, have helped the firm build the reputation of one of the most trustworthy and reliable manufacturers over the years. "The wide product portfolio offered by AHT includes products of varying capacities, sizes, features, and specifications to suit different industrial processes.
The products manufactured by the firm are built with durable materials, comply with ISO standards, and follow robust construction processes to ensure long-term reliability and minimize the risk of premature failure. The team at AHT frequently meets and discusses with OEM & Automobile parts manufacturing companies regarding their new requirements and applications. Apart from furnace manufacturing, the firm also offers commercial heat treatment solutions to its clients.
"The client engagement process starts with meeting the client. The team at AHT discusses and tries to understand the client’s requirements and standards before moving on to designing and order finalization. The team then tries to incorporate the client feedback through necessary adjustments before manufacturing. During parts production, AHT ensures meeting the metallurgical and dimensional requirements decided during the product design through an advanced process control system. After completion of the final testing, documentation, and necessary trial processes, the final product is then deployed at the client’s site. The team also provides post-installation support and maintenance to address issues or updates", shares Aswathy Ajikumar, Director.
By providing its customers with innovative, high-quality, cost-effective, & environment-friendly products, AHT, over the years, has become one of the market leaders in Furnace Manufacturing
Starting in 2000, AHT initially started its operation as Aswathy Engineers with just two laborers and a small oven in Ajikumar’s small house. Under Ajikumar’s inspiring tutelage, the firm gradually started experiencing tremendous growth. Today, the firm has a client base of over 100 clients with a reputation for high-quality products with zero quality issues. In 2005, Ajikumar decided to start the first private limited company under the Aswathy brand umbrella and introduced Aswathy Heat in the Peenya industrial Est in Bangalore. Over the years, the firm has become one of the leading furnace manufacturing and commercial heat treatment service provider in the country, with offices in Bangalore and Hyderabad.
Coming to the future roadmap, AHT has plans to expand its service portfolio further by venturing into industrial robotics and is currently doing R&D in the same. The firm is also working on developing more energy-efficient and eco-friendly equipment by introducing various technologies, such as endo gas systems and energy-saving motors. Apart from that, AHT is also planning to offer digital twin solutions that are virtual replicas of the physical machinery and enable simulations, optimization, and remote monitoring while aiding in maintenance and troubleshooting.
