The pallet market in India is primarily driven by rapid industrialization and urbanization. The exponential growth of pharmaceutical and chemical industries has further created the need for safer and more reliable storage, transportation, and material handling activities, thus in turn propelling the growth of the market. Meeting these demands and leading the market with high-quality wooden pallets is Acroland Timbers, headquartered in Ahmedabad.
Acroland Timbers is a privately owned company that manufactures wooden pallets for logistic, pharmaceutical, and export-oriented units (EOUs)/companies across the country. Founded in 2014, Acroland has emerged as one of the top players in the packaging materials industry with top-rung clients like CHEP Brambles, Reliance Industries, Adani Group, and Intas on their roster.
Acroland is one of the very few companies in the country to have both the PEFC (Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certificate) and the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification. Acroland has a geographical edge over the competition because of its base in Gandhidham, Gujarat.
“We pass on the advantage of reduced transportation costs and time due to this proximity to the port of import. The diversity of this thriving port city, also means that we acquire manpower and other resources efficiently, and pass on these benefits to our clients as well,” says Anuj Manglik, CEO of Acroland Timbers.
Also, Acroland imports top-quality wood from across the globe, namely, Pinewood from Russia, Radiata pine softwood lumber from New Zealand, Spruce lumber from Europe, and KD Sawn Lumber too.
The company has years of experience in the international market and is the 3rd generation belonging to the Manglik timber-business family. Acroland boasts world-class manufacturing, compliance with global certifications, and reliable shipment times. “From importing the strongest lumber to licensed heat-treating units to customizing pallets as per client needs, we manufacture with high standards”, adds Anuj.
Finest Customizable Pallet Designs
At Acroland, there are four types of pallets that make the difference. First, EPAL Euro pallets are the most widely used pallets for logistics across the globe. Second, Stringer pallets, whose deck boards are supported by ‘stringers’ or long blocks of wood on the side and in the middle. Third, Block pallets utilize both parallel and perpendicular stringers in order to facilitate their efficient handling, and lastly, customized pallets can be designed and structured as per the need of clients.
The company's vision is to someday make Acroland synonymous with pallets across the globe
Acroland delivers its products in three days (minimum of 3-4 days) from the date of the order placed to the time the consignment is dispatched. “We are able to fulfil our orders under such tight timeframe due to our stock-building options and fine-tuned manufacturing process which functions like clockwork,” says Anuj.
