In the personal care segment, ABDOS further strengthened its capabilities by setting up a dedicated shampoo sachet manufacturing site for Hindustan Unilever Ltd.
Today, it is driving growth in the Home care sector with its new site equipped with all the capabilities to manufacture categories such as powders, bars and liquids. It’s strong focus on quality has enabled it to develop product and processes that entitle clients to focus on scalability and brand building and provide complete trust in ABDOS Oils regarding their products. In 1997, as mentioned earlier, ABDOS Oils started off manufacturing the famous Nihar Coconut Hair Oil. In 2006, the firm undertook the contract for manufacturing Bertolli Olive Oil. 2013 was the year when the firm stepped to manufacture shampoo sachets with an installed capacity of 6.9 million sachets per day which has in-creased to nearly 30 million sachets/day today. In 2019, the firm started manufacturing FIGARO Olive Oil for DEOLEO and established a new plant catering to Home Care products in Kolkata, Eastern India.
