India has demonstrated its capabilities and proven its position globally by effectively handling complex tasks predominantly after the COVID-19 pandemic. China was once a key player in the export of goods due to its financial benefits, but its reputation took a hit after the negative impact of COVID-19. Consequently, companies stopped investing in China and began looking for other nations to expand their business relationships. Manufacturing companies based in Japan were considering moving away from China and looking towards Southeast Asian countries, including India. Even US-based companies have started to skip manufacturing bases in China and prefer India. As a result, the number of startups in India has increased to 14000 in 2021 from 733 in 2016. The nation had 83 unicorns; most were in the service sector and had a value of more than $1 billion in 2021.
Hence, all these factors make India welcome and attract Japan manufacturing companies and other Asia-based establishments, making it a suitable hub for international brands and startups.
Hitachi Multinational conglomerate company has operations in several sectors, reaping the benefits of India's infrastructure development and surging demand for factory-made tools and services.
