The ‘Tamil Nadu Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme’ was launched by Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, M. K. Stalin. This will support electronic component production, completing the ‘Semiconductor and Advanced Electronics Policy 2024.’ This scheme also offers an incentive matches the Union Ministry’s support, leading to extending around USD 14 for electronic exports in Tamil Nadu.
On Wednesday, the TN CM, M. K. Stalin, launched the ‘Tamil Nadu Electronics Components Manufacturing Scheme’ to make the Rs. 30,000 crore investments targets to 60,000 plus job opportunities.
For ‘Semiconductor and Advanced Electronics Policy 2024’, Tamil Nadu has moved out earlier to reassure value-added manufacturing and attract large-scale investments in the semiconductor sector and this policy will make Tamil Nadu to arise on top of the production of electronic goods.
The attractive offers incentives that will benefit companies under the Electronics Component Manufacturing Scheme of the Union Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology.
In an official release on Wednesday, it is quoted that "In continuation of these efforts to strengthen the electronics manufacturing ecosystem, the Chief Minister has now launched this special scheme focused on electronic component manufacturing."
It is also mentioned that the government will offer incentives that match the subsidies announced under the scheme, which could bring a new change in the revolution of electronic components.
