A 300 MW project for NLC India (NLCIL) as part of the CPSU plan has been awarded to Tata Power Solar Systems, a fully owned subsidiary of Tata Power, for Rs 1,755 crore, according to the LoA. The facility, which is located near Barsingar in
Rajasthan's Bikaner district, is anticipated to produce more than 750 million units annually while also reducing 6 lakh tonnes of carbon dioxide. Power Solar's whole portfolio will reach 11.5 GW with this victory. It said that as of this writing, its order backlog totals around Rs 17,000 crore.
"Tata Power Solar will also handle the project's operation and upkeep for three years following the declaration of commercial operation. Via a competitive bid process, the LoA for the project was chosen. The project will be put into operation within 18 months of the LoA being received.
The solar company will handle all aspect of project execution, including designing, commissioning, and evacuation systems all the way to delivery. NLCIL produces lignite on a huge scale and contributes significantly to the production of thermal and renewable energy.
