The development of a 653.4 MW wind energy park in Karnataka and Maharashtra has been contracted to Envision Energy, a world leader in renewable energy solutions. A total of 198 EN 156-3.3 MW WTGs will be installed as part of the project. The project, which is scheduled to cost approximately Rs. 500 crores, will support India's renewable energy industry by creating over 2,000 job possibilities.
According to RPV Prasad, CEO of Envision Wind Power Technologies India, the collaboration with JSW Energy signifies a pivotal step in leveraging India’s wind energy potential, aligning with their commitment to the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. Kane Xu, Global Vice President of Envision Energy and Chairman of Envision Energy India, highlighted the critical role of collaboration in accelerating the transition to green energy, emphasising the company’s dedication to sustainable solutions in India.
Envision has a successful track record in India, having completed 330 MW of wind projects and securing over 4.7GW of additional projects. The company has established significant manufacturing capacities in Pune and Trichy, supporting its operations across multiple Indian states.
