Hero MotoCorp has inaugurated an assembly facility in Nepal in collaboration with its distributor, CG Motors. This facility, located in CG Industrial Park in Nawalparasi, will have an annual capacity of 75,000 units and will play a significant role in boosting investments and employment opportunities in the region.
The assembly facility will focus on assembling four Hero MotoCorp products - the Xpulse 200 4V, Super Splendor, Splendor+, motorcycles, and Xoom 110 scooter - which have already been launched in Nepal.
Sanjay Bhan, Chief Business Officer of Hero MotoCorp's Global Business Unit, expressed excitement about the development. He highlighted that the assembly unit would ensure that their world-class products are made locally and made available to customers across Nepal. He also emphasized the rapid expansion of the sales and service network, which would enhance market penetration.
CG Motors, a division of the Chaudhary Group, aims to expand its sales and service network across Nepal to serve the growing customer base efficiently. Nirvana Chaudhary, Managing Director of Chaudhary Group, expressed optimism about the collaboration, stating that Hero MotoCorp's expertise in manufacturing and business processes would be beneficial in scaling up operations and building a robust market presence in Nepal.
