The Tooling business of Godrej & Boyce which is a part of the Godrej Enterprises Group, has signed a MoU with Bisiach & Carru for manufacturing advanced railway and aerospace equipment in India. This partnership strengthens the manufacturing capabilities as well as aligns with the Make in India initiative. The focus will be mainly on increasing local manufacturing content, with a roadmap for expanding as capabilities improve and grow.

As part of this collaboration, the organizations will manufacture advanced equipment that are aimed at improving efficiency, precision as well as automation in the railways and aerospace sector in India. This comprises robotic spot welding systems, that can help in enhancing production speed as well as accuracy coupled with high-precision jigs & fixtures which ensures superior quality in railway coach manufacturing.
