India's objective of reaching renewable energy independence by 2047 has been supported by the announcement of strategic collaborations by the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) in India. As part of the partnership, GEAPP will work with Ashoka University to create knowledge documents and research papers for policymakers, Indian Railways to assist in the solarization of transport, Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy & Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT) to expand the waste to energy (WTE) and compressed biogas (CBG) markets, and Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy & Infrastructure Technology Limited (MAHAPREIT) to support these projects. In order to assist innovators in scaling up their ideas and solutions
focused on the energy transition, GEAPP has also introduced ENTICE, the International Energy Transitions Innovation Challenge. GEAPP is committed to enabling India's energy sector through strategic collaborations and cutting-edge solutions, according to Ravi Venkatesan, the organization's chairman. Our ENTICE project is made to assist startups and business owners in finding solutions to pressing issues, making India a global leader in renewable energy and providing a model for rescuing other developing nations from energy poverty.
"GEAPP aims to be the pillar of support for energy transition in India," stated PK Sinha, country advisor for the Global Energy Alliance for People and Planet (GEAPP) in India. We are motivated to effect change and realise a world powered by clean and sustainable energy. "With a passionate team, engaged partnerships, and cutting-edge technology, we aim to transform industries and drive sustainable growth for the nation," continued Saurabh Kumar, GEAPP's India Head.
The goals of the Indian government to achieve energy security, sustainability, and economic growth are in line with the objective and strategy of GEAPP. GEAPP will promote India's energy transition and help the country achieve its climate and sustainable development goals through collaborating with governmental organisations, for-profit businesses, and neighbourhood associations. The collaborations revealed by GEAPP are a part of India's initiatives to advance renewable energy and lessen its carbon footprint.
