Dassault Aviation - Manufacturer of the Rafale fighter aircraft recently announced an alliance with the renowned College of Engineering Pune (CoEP). The collaboration consists of the launch of the first ‘Network of Excellence’ and ‘Aeronautical Integrated Design from Engineering to Maintenance’. The Network of Excellence will contribute towards the development of training,
research and entrepreneurship in the strategic civil and military aeronautical fields in India.
This will benefit the aeronautical experience of Dassault Aviation in terms of technology and many others. It would include programmes and exchanges between CoEP and Dassualt Aviation’s French academic partners, ISAE-ENSMA and ESTIA. A “Curiculum of Excellence” will be incorporated to prepare the students for aeronautical challenges in India.
This has also created a “Dassualt Skill Academy’ for imparting global training and education adhering to the requirements of the global aerospace industry, in terms of highly qualified manpower, throughout the complete spectrum of educational levels from vocational to higher education. The new initiative was announced to mark the Second Knowledge Summit organized by Institute Francais en Inde, at Saint-Cloud, France. The overall concern is to support the ‘Skill India’ initiative of the Indian government and also to contribute to the ‘Make in India’ initiative through India’s youth professional fulfillment.
