Danfoss Power Solutions has begun a substantial expansion in India with the launch of an advanced facility in Pune, highlighted by a ceremonial groundbreaking event. The company located in Chennai is allocating Rs 1,000 crore to create this extensive facility in Talegaon, with the goal of doubling its production presence in India.
The new facility will greatly enhance the company's production capability for current products like pumps, motors, cylinders, and valves, while also launching new product lines to satisfy rising demand. This expansion signifies Danfoss' seventh manufacturing facility in India, complementing its existing locations in Chennai, Mumbai, Vadodara, Bengaluru, and two in Pune.
Set to be finished in the latter part of 2026, the Talegaon facility will enhance Danfoss' ability to cater to both Indian and global markets. Furthermore, a Centre for Application Development focused on machinery R&D will be included in the new campus, enhancing the company's initiatives aimed at sustainability and decarbonization by 2030.
The Chennai-based firm announced in a statement that it will also produce new product lines to satisfy increasing customer demand. The facility in Talegaon will enhance Danfoss' capability to create and produce products in India for local and international markets.
