For instance, Technodry’s spray drying is a very efficient process that allows for precise control of particle size, bulk density, and moisture content of the dried powder. With the use of spray nozzles or rotating discs, the liquid feed is atomized into small droplets in the spray drying process. In a specially built drying chamber, these small droplets are exposed to heated air. The liquid is vaporized, and the solid particles are collected in dry form at the chamber's bottom. A cyclone separator, bag filter, or wet scrubber is used to separate the tiny particles carried by the air.
