India is on the verge of becoming the world's industrial hub, wherein, practically all major global corporations either have manufacturing operations in India or are aiming to do so. Aside from that, several new start-ups in the e-Commerce and industrial sectors have emerged in recent years. Everyone, whether a manufacturing firm or an e-Commerce company, requires self adhesive tapes.
However, India's adhesive tape market is primarily unorganised, with no branded companies. There are various producers who provide poor adhesive and micron tapes only to increase profits. And when we talk about the clients, they expect quality-driven adhesive in tapes so that they can seal their items as well as transport them safely.
Kosha Tapes is one of the few recognised and trusted tape brands in South India, with a stringent quality control strategy in place. The company’s products includes Bopp Self Adhesive Tapes, Masking Tapes, Double Sided (Foam, Tissue, Polyester, Cloth), Floor Marking Tapes, Duct Tapes, Cross Filamen Tapes, and Aluminium Foil
Tape, among others. All these products are customisable as per client requirements.
“We ensure that our tapes remain affixed to their packaging until the product arrives at its destination. We employ around 15-20 percent more adhesive in our tapes than the average selling tape in India, which distinguishes us from other players,” says A. Pushkar Raj, Director at Kosha Tapes. “We founded our firm in 2011 with very minimal resources. We now have a presence in over seven states in Southern and Western India. We not only have direct clients, but also a very strong network of dealers and distributors to supply finished items, and we also offer semi-finished goods to small units that manufacture finished goods and sell them under their own names”, Pushkar adds.
Staying Parallel with the Changes
Kosha Tapes’ team has years of experience which they leverage to bring the needed innovation in the industry today. With a robust infrastructure in place, the company has been successfully catering to the diverse requirements of its clients. Its state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities integrated with latest machinery and technologies gives them the edge over its competitors in devising products that meet strict quality standards.

Adhesive tape is utilised in a variety of applications, with new applications being found every year. Because of advancements in adhesive technology, simplicity of use, and its cheap cost compared to traditional fastening methods, the use and diversity of tape as a fastening and joining solution will continue to rise. Understanding this, Kosha Tapes has always kept up with the ever-changing market dynamics in order to remain relevant to the changing phenomena.
“We intend to make our firm the largest Adhesive Tape maker in South India. We are also working on exporting our products to other nations since we see a great possibility in the sticky tape industry in other countries”, concludes Pushkar.
