The Journey and Path to Future
Gedee Weiler had a turnover of approximately 30 crore between FY15 and FY16, increasing approximately 55 crore in FY18 and FY19. 60 percent of its turnover is from export contributions. The rest is generated from the domestic market. Gedee Weiler is the largest exporter of Machine Tools to Germany. It is expecting 10-15 percent growth in the on-going financial year.
Subramanian concludes, “We built a new tech centre in our factory which we use for the expo of our machines, introducing the latest products with hands-on training and guidance for our customers. We have always been focused on developing and adding new products to our range. We have added a turn-mill machine successfully couple of years ago. We would be unleashing a range of futuristic CNC lathes that will help in manufacturing parts with reduced throughput time and man power. Some of the products would be ideally suited for components for electric cars which will have a very high demand soon.”
