Achievements and Future Plans
Unicon has been awarded a contract worth approximately $ 8.5 million for replacement of existing battery cyclones with 5 Nos Electrostatic Precipitators (ESPs) on turnkey basis from M/s. Steel Authority of India Limited for their Bokaro Steel Plant. The project is to be executed under the consultancy of M/s. Centre for Engineering & Technology (CET). Guaranteed outlet emission should be < 50mg/Nm3.
“We have joined hands with M/s INERCO, Spain for implementation of its combustion and NOx- emission reduction technology and we have already won the first contract award from M/s West Bengal Power Development Corporation Limited for their BTPS unit-5, Unicon has another division under the name and style of “Mist Separators India Private Limited” which has expertise in design, manufacture and supply of Mist Eliminators to Sulfuric acid plants and Chlorine plants in India and Asia Pacific.
These products remove mist from process gas streams thereby protecting other equipment’s from corrosion and arresting atmospheric emission thereby complying to EPA standards worldwide. We would also be shortly introducing to the Indian and Asia Pacific market Demister/Mesh pads, Distributors, Tower packings etc to supplement and complement our existing product line” concludes the CEO.
