A conveyor system is a vital equipment needed to convey bulk materials from one place to another, both horizontally and vertically, which aids in reducing overall production time and labor costs. To provide the latest technology to global industries, TURBO Engineers (CBE), an ISO 9001:2015 certified & Crisil-rated manufacturing company based in Coimbatore, renders the latest cutting-edge technology, efficient & affordable conveyor systems & components to various core industries like iron & steel, power, mining, mineral processing, cement, port handling, foundries, engineering, and food industries in India and abroad. In the past two decades, Turbo has exported to fifteen countries with world-class quality, on-time delivery, and competitive pricing.
TURBO produces both standard & non-standard conveyors & conveyor components as per customer specifications, ranging from 200 to 2400 mm belt width and carrying capacities up to 8000 MT/hour for all kinds of raw materials. TURBO has two manufacturing verticals: TURBO bulk materials handling division manufactures belt conveyors, portable truck loaders, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, conveyor components; idler rollers, pulleys, belt scrapers, frames & structures, and more. TURBO wear-resistant division produces cast basalt, high-alumina ceramic, UHMWPE-lined pipes, elbows, pipe fittings, and more.
Manufacturing Facility with In-House Testing Chamber
TURBO takes pride in being the only company in Coimbatore with a fully automatic plate rolling
machine with a width of 3000 mm and a thickness of 85 mm to build pipes and bends for water or any other fluid-carrying lines in huge plants. In addition, TURBO Manufacturing Units spread across 10 acres of land, covering 60,000 sq. ft. with ultra-modern CNC and conventional machines. TURBO's flagship products are Idler rollers and conveyor pulleys; the Idler rollers are manufactured using automatic double-ended boring machines for shells & automatic double-headed welding machines for welding bearing housings with shells and semi-automated assembly machines, which impart excellent quality matching international standards. Similarly, TURBO Belt Conveyor Pulleys are manufactured with static and dynamic balancing as per customers' requirements. Turbo Idler Rollers conform to IS 8598 and Conveyor Pulleys to IS 8531.
"TURBO Conveyor Idler Rollers are made using MS ERW Pipes conforming to IS 9295 of a reputed brand, Bright Bars conforming to IS 1570 or BS 970, deep drawn bearing housings as per IS 513, Bearings of reputed make (SKF, FAG, NBC) with high-quality nylon 6 seal kits", adds Shanthi Sudhakar, Founder, Turbo Engineers.
Furthermore, Turbo manufactures both conventional idler rollers and bearing cartridge type idler rollers with no circlip, which is a unique design and state-of-the-art product that lasts long without any breakdown. This guarantees 50,000 running hours for their idler rollers and follows IS, DIN, ASME, and JIS Standards while manufacturing products, proving their quality. The firm has in-house testing machines, where idler rollers are tested for free rotation, water ingress, dust or slurry ingress, runout, and friction factor as per the customer's requirements in the calibrated testing chambers. Whereas, conveyor pulleys are tested for runout, UT for shafts, hubs, shells, and discs, RT/ DPT for welding, rubber lagging peel-off tests, and more. Further, the products are painted, packed, transported, and shipped as per requirements.
