Journey Since inception
SSS Defence received its Industrial licenses in 2017 after being created as a “Skunkworks” initiative by its parent company Stumpp Schuele & Somappa Group. Vivek adds, “Our first products - a series of 2 Precision sniper weapons chambered for the 7.62x51 NATO and .338 Lapua Magnum rounds were introduced to the user in mid-2018. Thereafter, Defexpo 2020 saw the formal launch of our ammunition joint venture with Companhia Brasileira de Cartuchos (CBC Brazil) and the introduction of our new family of P72 assault weapons.” SSS Defence has a growth driven by its Never settling for mediocrity attitude and extending the offensive capability of the soldiers today and tomorrow of Indian armed forces and law enforcement.

It has a manufacturing unit of small arms coming up at Anantpur, AP which has an internal proof testing range that India has never witnessed before. It is expected to commence production of multi caliber, automatic loading lines by 2022 which an ability of significantly scaling up production. It has heavily invested on R&D of Semiauto DMR with specific ammunitions, Light weight Sniper rifles for Special ops, a CQB Carbine chambered for the 5.56*45mm round and refining is family of Sniper rifles and P-72 assault weapons.
