Reddy says, “The usual client expectations are quality transformers as per the guaranteed parameters delivered on time at competitive prices. We at SSE invested hugely on backward Integration and automation to gain control over the quality, cost and timely deliveries. To cater to the entire transformer range, SSEL has acquired the controlling stake in Indo Tech Transformers Limited from PROLEC-GE. With this acquisition, SSEL covers the transformers range up to 220 kV class. SSEL is also in the process of asset purchase to cater transformers and reactors up to 400 kV class. SSEL is diversifying the portfolio by extending from Manufacturing & EPC to Renewable Power Generation.”
