Stricter and tighter implementation of stringent regulations is expected to boost the demand. Every new manufacturing unit and the existing ones must comply to the regulations or else face the ire from public and as well from the government.

“The impact of pandemic is almost on every industry. The lock down has disrupted the entire
demand supply chain. The impact has badly affected the new order inflow. Fortunately, we are in good position due to good order back log from previous financial year. Unlike IT industry, for manufacturing sector, it is required to visit the sites, see, and understand the customer requirements.
Due to travel ban all this had stopped. For first one month, we had no clue what to do further. However, we utilised this time to ramp up our IT systems and establish the same to effectively work from home. These systems also helped us to connect with customers for online meetings, order closures. We even made virtual site visits by video calls. Our service team also solved many issues through online support.” says the Business Head for Clean Air Solutions.

On 30thOctober, 2020, RIECO completed 45 years in the industry. Having been there in the market for so long time, the experience and expertise is unmatched. “Air pollution directly affects our atmosphere and endangers all the living beings and contributes to many factors that are responsible for global warming. Effects of global warming are well known and needs no description here. Pollutants are not limited to particulate matter but to a wide range of emissions like VOCs, NOx, S, F etc. In January 2020, RIECO partnered with TECAM, Spain for supply of Regenerative Thermal Oxidisers (RTO) for VOCs and Odour abatement systems.
To save the planet Earth and provide a habitable atmosphere to our future generations, we must eliminate all types of pollution. Governments must take cognisance to provide good quality air, in the process, compelling industries to implement emission norms strictly. This would force governments to define stricter emission norms not only for particulate matter but for other harmful emissions. This will obviously help and boost the requirements for air pollution control equipment.
