Its expertise lies in advancing refrigeration and fabrication product, along with services that consists of custom fabrication, hot equipment range, food display equipment, and many others.
The Founding Story
The company flourished under the spirited leadership of four avid entrepreneurs MilindParab, Suraj Bode, Neeraj Gupta and Jaydeep Goswami. OPUS INNOVATION registered under the brand of “STAR OPUS” was formed in 2015, with a vision “To be recognised as the Most admired company in the Commercial Kitchen Equipment segment”. It abides by the tagline- “We Deliver what we promise”. These values have helped them in getting associated with some of the best brands in the food industry.
In the last five years of operation they have had a roller coaster ride but have successfully tackled all challenges through sheer dedication and with the staunch help of its customers. The company has created a record of having 100 per cent satisfied customers.
From customer’s view of the industry, OPUS will focus on three things Product, Product delivery and Customer satisfaction. It wants to standardise its products, stock them in the local market with the intention to deliver and install the equipment within the period given to the customer for interior fitment of store. It aims is to provide customers a time bound service. Currently OPUS is not equipped with modern technology, but it’s looking forward to put the foot forward. The land for setting up a modern manufacturing facility is acquired and the company is to initiate the construction work March 2021. This facility will be equipped with Laser cutting machine; CNC operated bending machine and Laser welding machine. “Our refrigeration products are comparable to some of the best in the industry, at Marriot Kolkata we replaced an equipment of a major global brand which could not perform in a particular site condition with OPUS unit which is being successfully used till today by the team.” he states.
The Headways
OPUS Innovation perceived a systematic growth in a span of five years. Based in Mumbai, the company has expanded its business by setting up the second manufacturing unit in Kolkata, and have marketing offices Goa and Raipur that generates annual sales of about 430 lakhs. As far as the refrigeration products are concerned, it has gained utmost admiration across the domain.
In the time ahead, OPUS Innovation is contemplating of achieving its immediate target which is to get the Raipur manufacturing facility operational, which will ensure a threefold increase in its sales volume. It is also looking at technology JV which will ensure its products being manufactured at par with international standards. This will increase its overall market coverage by developing channel partners in small towns to represent OPUS in their markets. One of its prime endeavours to achieve will be to drive its investments towards serving the Hotels and Restaurants by not only equipping them with top-notch kitchen apparatus but assisting them to maintain it. “In the next five years we will come closer to our vision of being the most admired company in the Commercial Kitchen equipment Segment. In terms of sales volume we plan to grow at a CAGR of 50 per cent and achieve a turnover of 3500 Lac.,” he concludes.
