Even if it is still in its infancy, there has been a noticeable increase in the general appreciation of India's potential for biomass use. The potential with this domain is much greater than solar and wind combined. As most of the current systems must be converted to biomass fuels instead of complex fossil fuel handling systems, equipment requirements for driving this shift must be modest. Young company Nugreen Energy specializes in waste-to-energy solutions.
The company's primary focus is innovation, and it has invented numerous types of patented machinery and technological advancements. Nugreen Energy is the only renewable energy firm in the world to have turned some of the most challenging industrial and agricultural waste into commercially viable and ecologically friendly biomass-based electricity solutions. Among the difficulties the business has is Because different biofuels are still in the early stages of commercialization, consumers in this market segment have high expectations.
It is well known that there are problems with efficiently and successfully utilizing biomass. Since the goal is to deliver clean energy as a
replacement for currently used fuels, which often have higher energy densities, there are several challenges to overcome, which have been successfully executed by Nugreen.
Numerous options are offered by Nugreen Energy, such as cook stoves, commercial pellet burners, big pellets as an improved alternative to briquettes, pellet fuel, gasification of plastic waste to produce high-quality oil, off grid cold storage using biomass, hybrid pellets, (Crude oil Sludge, Dolochar waste, sewage sludge waste into biomass based pellets), biochar, CarboTor-Torrefied biomass (which can be used in place of Coal, Diesel, LPG, Furnace oil, Pet coke, Nut coke, Pearl coke and coke breeze) natural cellulose fiber pellets, plasma gasification, and MSW conversion into RDF pellets without segregation of the waste.
For the upcoming six months, 15 installations are planned by Nugreen. The emphasis is on using their own technology and process knowledge to create bio-coal from agricultural residues that are available in different geographic places. In order to effectively transform agricultural waste into a marketable energy-intensive product, the units need to be placed close to the source of the trash. African expansion of Nugreen is being aided by a big initiative by US and Japanese environmental organizations that is focused on Torrefied bio coal and cook stoves.
Nugreen has teamed with the top corporate entities that specialize in this business as well as with the biggest coal handling operators in India with the goal of integrating biomass handling with coal through specialists. Using this combined strength and their own plants, the company is establishing turnkey projects in India and abroad.
Our mission is to be the first renewable energy firm in the waste-to-energy sector and to become the world's largest producer of biomass pellets, with the ability to pelletize all types of organic and inorganic wastes by comparing our processes to those used across the whole industry
It is important to remember that nearly all of their technologies qualify for carbon credits and fall under CSR programmes. “In future, we aim to be a leader in the field of biomass pellet manufacturing. We want to be able to convert all types of organic and inorganic waste into pellets by comparing its methods to those used by the entire industry”, concludes Sukhdeep Singh Rana, CEO of the company.
