While conventionally only water tanks were being made from this process, the technological progress over the past decade has enabled Rotational Moulding to produce durable automotive products such a fuel tanks, furniture items, road safety equipment, and products related to sanitation, along with the conventional food and oil storage equipment. Needless to say, the importance of water tanks is only going to increase by the day, with ever increasing water-related scarcity throughout the world. With the advent of CNC machined aluminium and steel moulds, there are many more areas one can explore, delivering products with dimensional precision and tighter tolerance. Since very little pressure is exerted in the rotomoulding process, the price of a rotational mould is less in comparison to injection or blow moulds.
