Presently, the company is catering mainly to the Vending Machine industry as an OEM supplier of Value-Added Motors, and catering to almost 70 percent of the local demand. The company’s exports of the Vending Machine motor are close to 30 percent of their total sales. “At present, we can make 10,000 motors per day in a single shift (30 Lakh pc/year) which can be increased to more than 30,000 motors/ day (180 Lakh pc/year) in multiple shifts and addition of machinery and experienced manpower,” reveals Hemal Patel, CEO, Lunar Motors.

He goes on to tell us how Wiper Motors & Actuators used in the Bean to Coffee making machines are mainly imported from China. However, Lunar Motors has penetrated this market and has developed better quality Wiper Motors & Actuators with the assurance of durability to cater to local Coffee Machine manufacturers. “We got very good response from the coffee machine manufacturers about our quality,” adds Hemal.
The company also manufactures and exports AC Shaded Pole Motors for their overseas customers in the UK and Malaysia since 2006. Additionally, the company is equipped to meet the demands of the automobile sector in the future. “Possessing the perfect reverse engineering capability of product development, we can develop the sub-assemblies where DC or AC micro motors are used for Vending Industry, Automobile Industry, Agriculture Industry and so on,” says Vasant.
