Khalsa Punjab Engineers was founded by Late S. Ajmer Singh Ji in 1971 with Maize Shelter & Drummy type Thresher as the starting products but in 1975, it was joined by Malkeet Singh with the aim to introduce mechanized farm Implements, especially in Potato & Sugarcane crops which were not much prevalent that time. It was the 1st Company in the country to introduce mechanization in Sugarcane farming and planned a demo in South India & launched 1st Sugarcane Planter in India in 1996. Later, the company was joined by Jasakarn Singh in 2006, a young, energetic & graduate in science who tried to introduce newer systems and created a hierarchy within the organization at each level.
Khalsa Punjab Engineer is ISO 9000 accredited and further, it introduced system & standards to increase production. Having come a long and successful trajectory from small scale industry in 1975 to India’s first Automatic Potato Combine harvester in 2014, now after seven to eight years of continuous experimentation, in 2020, the company is ready to launch the world’s First Potato Harvestor and Grader of its kind which can be a revolution in Indian Agriculture. The company has achieved various associations with reputed organizations under Malkeet Singh and is currently allied with a reputed company like Eicher, Mahindra, Pepsi, Mother Dairy and so on.
Future Plans
Khalsa Punjab Engineers aims to reach Mills, Societies, NGOs, research centers, and Universities working with govt. agencies that help to implement subsidy schemes for farmers.
