The industrialization has made transportation, logistics, and packaging indispensable components of mutual growth. Packaging is the fifth-largest sector of India that amounted to nearly USD 80 billion, and from 2020, it has been growing at a CAGR of 5 percent. The industry holds the potential of reaching USD 103 billion by the end of 2025. Secondary packaging is mainly responsible for protecting the quality, shape, and authenticity of the product. Modern clients demand customized secondary packages that are durable and as per the market requirement with their budgetary means.
With the vision of becoming a leader in end-of-line packaging solutions, Infinity Automated Solutions was set up to work in close client collaboration to deliver solutions tailored to their respective needs. Infinity is a provider of automated end-of-line packaging solutions, car toning machines, check weighers, and conveying solutions. With a team of dedicated and committed engineers for the last 7 years, Infinity has bested the other operators of the industry.
Customer Satisfaction through End-of-line Packaging
Traditionally, in India, nearly 80 percent of the secondary and tertiary packing of packed food items such as spices, pulses, namkin, and tea is done manually. Now, all the food companies are looking for automation for secondary and tertiary packing with automatic quality inspection. Infinity
primarily focuses on secondary and tertiary packaging automation, which can be useful to companies as above, as it increases output due to continuous operations, improves quality control, gets rid of any manual labor that isn't necessary, lowers labor costs, improves information access of production data, enhances product safety, eliminates manual errors and improves overall efficiency (OEE).
Amit R. Katariya, the company's Managing Director, states, "Our customers' demand is for reducing the manpower required for packaging so that the manual errors could be eliminated and food safety and quality could be increased." Therefore, that is what the company solely focuses on.
Infinity understands the problems and needs for automation, like where the customers want to reduce the manual process and why they want it. The core purpose behind all automation is to improve quality, minimize stressful manual work for people, and increase customer profitability. Machines could work independently and continuously for three shifts. Keeping these things in mind, the company customizes the solutions as per the customers' needs, space availability, and production capacity. This is Infinity's uniqueness; it works entirely as per customers' requirements.

A Unique, Useful, and Universal Solution
In countries like America and Europe, everything goes into cartons; nobody packs pouches into pouches or bags into bags, but in India, the concept is unique. Due to cost factors, packagers/manufacturers use lowcost materials for secondary and tertiary packaging. Considering the cost issues, Infinity came up with a unique way of providing pouch-in-pouch and pouch-in-bags solutions without compromising the packaging quality. Amit says, "We have 3-4 standard models for it, which cater to most of the customer requirements."
The Future Ahead
Currently, Infinity is working with a lot of industries to expand its services. "Like in the soap industry, we are working to bring high-speed secondary packaging solutions. For the last two years after the pandemic, we have understood that we cannot depend on manpower to do our job 24/7. Automation is required very much, and with our honesty, commitment, and passion for innovation, we expect to keep growing at a rate of 30-40 percent for the next 10-15 years." Concludes Amit.
