The Indian Pump industry is growing at an annual CAGR of 10% which is much higher than the international CAGR average of 6%. Due to the surge in overall manufacturing, infrastructure development, growth in agriculture, and other water-intensive industries the Indian pump industry offers among the highest net value additions in the engineering industry of over 20%.
With the government focus to boost the manufacturing in the country, promoting & boosting MSME sector, easy of setting up new manufacturing units, increased government expenditure on infrastructure, will surely fuel the industrial growth. This in turn leads to growing consumption of Industrial pumps, across various sectors like Chemicals, Pharmaceuticals, oil & gas, waste water treatment plants, mining, and its allied industries.
Chemtrol Industries has been into manufacturing of FRP pumps since 1975 and is credited to be the first manufacturer of FRP molded centrifugal chemical process pumps in India and is now an established name for supplying wide range of pumps in major public and private sectors undertaking and approved by leading consultant sacross the country. As the company is in the Non-Metallic Pump segment, clients look for a better life with minimal down time. As a part of its quality policy, continuous effort is made by the team to customize the pumps as per the client’s requirements and needs.
Amongst all non-metallic MOC, Fiberglass Moldings in Vinyl Ester resins, possess the highest mechanical, corrosion, abrasion, and temperature resistance properties, making it the superior MOC. This being thermosetting type of material.
Vinyl ester resin is characterized by its better impact strength and greater tolerances to cyclic temperature and pressure fluctuations and mechanical shocks. This resin exhibits very good thermal stability and resistance to alkalis, bleaching environments, non-oxidizing and dilute oxidizing acids, wide range of inorganic and organic chemicals. It is extensively used in the corrosive environments.
Moreover, in the non-metallic pump segment, the company produces Fiberglass Reinforced Vinyl Ester Resin Pumps. As mentioned earlier this a thermosetting type of material, thereby getting an extra edge over mechanical strength, suitability, temperature resistance, Life cycle, and more. The company manufactures Centrifugal Chemical Process Pumps in FRVE and has both Horizontal pumps in Gland Packed and Mechanical seals to suit capacity up to 250 M3/HR and Head up to 70 Meters. The Mechanical Seal pumps are with a Single Composite Structure of Threaded Impeller with Embedded Shaft Sleeve.
This particular feature eliminates the joints between Impeller & Impeller Nut as well as Impeller & Shaft Sleeve, thereby eliminating the penetration of Liquid or fumes from the joints. With more than four decades of experience in manufacturing FRP molded pumps, the company provides import substitutes to various industrial applications. The corrosion resistance of FRVE substitutes the requirement of high alloy material reducing the CAPEX and OPEX both. These are low weight material compared to the metallic versions. Also, the company has special FRVE pumps for abrasive applications like Sea Water or slurries.
We believe in making available the value-added solutions to diverse sectors of infrastructure development by using innovative product mixes and sustainable development solutions
The Vertical Glandless (VGL) series is available to suit Capacity up to 100 M3/HR and Head up to 50 Meters. These pumps are most suitable for Scrubber application, Effluent Treatment Plants, Slurries handling etc.
The Vertical Submerge (VSP) series is available to suit Capacity up to 50 M3/HR and Head up to 25 Meter. These pumps are suitable for Plating Plant, Pickling Plant applications. Presently pumps are available for 300 mm depth, in near future, we will have pump for 3 Meter depth.
Chemtrol industries, backed by an experienced team with more than four decades of experience in this field combined with the team of energetic young professionals are now gearing themselves to match the industry requirement in terms of digitization and automation. Continuous effort is made by the team to upgrade/ customize/ develop the products based on the customer’s feedback. The company manufactures nonmetallic pumps, which can be compared to the DIN standard. Currently, Chemtrol Industries is working towards ANSI standards and in near future, the company will roll out its ANSI series. This will help in catering the international markets as well as huge local market as import substitutes.
