Fuelled by the winds of progress in renewable energy and fortified by the resounding 'Make in India' campaign, Automech Industries emerges as a pivotal force in revolutionizing holistic lifting solutions and prioritizes excellence, safety, reliability, and cost-effectiveness. The company's dedication to innovation and quality is reflected in its modernization efforts. Automech focuses on understanding clients and delivers top-notch customized solutions and valuable consultation for all material handling needs.
Established in 1982, Automech has experienced significant growth under the able guidance of its Director, C. S. Bhogal, a certified Mechanical Engineer with prior experience working for material handling equipment behemoths and expertise in quality control and management. “We began with small cranes and gained expertise through collaborations. Now, we collaborate with a leading company, managing various sugar mill and foundry projects and supplying radio-active material handling electrical hoists for nuclear applications.
Our services extend to all material handling requirements that may arise in a unit, be it a complete solution for industries like cement, or a specialized product for a particular application. From a small crane manufacturer, we evolved into a versatile material handling solutions provider, offering goods lifts, scissor lifts, travel trolleys, furnace cranes, and sugar cane loaders.
We handle complete project-based orders, setting up customized material handling solutions”, noted C. S. Bhogal.
Dedicated Customer Service
Automech's success is grounded in delivering ‘what the end user needs’, going beyond the relevant Indian and international standards in designing and manufacturing cranes, providing improved safety factors and reliability. With expertise spanning various industries such as hydropower projects, steel plants, GIS power plants, and so on, the company ensures top-notch quality and safety parameters.
Additionally, to address the unique needs of existing crane owners and those setting up new factories, Automech provides dedicated customer service teams for on-site servicing, as downtime and maintenance concerns are crucial for existing crane owners. Automech teams ensure 24/7 operational readiness through regular health checkups and handling complex plot changes.
“For potential clients setting up units, safety, installation, and the operating environment are primary concerns. Drawing on our 30–40 years of experience, we offer consultations to guide them on the necessary structures and load-bearing requirements for their desired crane capacity. Production processes heavily rely on cranes, and even a short stoppage can result in significant losses. Our commitment to special care, including rapid response to breakdowns, is especially crucial for process cranes designed for continuous operation, such as those for sugar cane loaders running 24/7 during the season. We also provide specialized cranes for furnaces operating around the clock, ensuring both efficiency and safety in handling hot molten metal liquids”, explained C. S. Bhogal.
At Automech Industries, there are close-knit teams that work together like a family, many of them being here since the start of the company. Their production is set up with multiple final assembly bays for parallel assembly of cranes with individual teams responsible for their station, ensuring traceability. With the new equipment and technology advances being incorporated in their machining center, they aim to increase their capacity and adhere more closely to tolerances and quality control.
C. S. Bhogal and his grandson Sarthak Bhogal, insist on individually assessing the needs of every client, along with pre-sales team, to advise the clients of the most optimal options. These requirements are then passed on to the technical team that constructs the tailored solutions which undergoes multiple revisions until the complete satisfaction of the clients.
Shedding light on forward-looking approach, C. S. Bhogal concludes, “We've built a business focused on engineer-to-order supplies, aiming for a more intelligent and precise manufacturing unit. Automech Industries targets to provide even tighter tolerances and enhanced predictability for crane lifecycle management, ensuring better performance and reliability over 20 to 25 years. We're actively pursuing growth opportunities and reorganizing our machinery to maintain a consistently positive trend for the future".
