The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has issued an RFS for 500 MW firm and dispatchable power from ISTS-connected Renewable Energy (RE) power projects. SECI will select renewable energy power developers for the supply of 500 MW firm and dispatchable power on demand-following basis from ISTS-connected RE projects in India. Land and connectivity shall be in the scope of the renewable energy power developer.
The bid processing fee is INR 15 Lakh + 18% GST for each project. The tender fee is INR 29500. The tender EMD is INR 3024000. The project completion period is 24 months. The last date for bid submission (soft copy) is November 6, 2023. The last date for bid submission (hard copy) is November 8, 2023.
The project is on Build-Own-Operate (BOO) basis. SECI shall enter into a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with the successful bidders selected based on this RfS for purchase of power for a period of 25 years based on the terms, conditions and provisions of the RfS and PPA. Power procured by SECI from the above Projects has been provisioned to be sold to Punjab State Power Corporation Limited (PSPCL), Punjab, which shall be the buying entity under this RfS.
A bidder, including its parent, affiliate or ultimate parent or any group company shall submit a single bid offering a minimum quantum of cumulative contracted capacity of 50 MW and a maximum quantum of 250 MW, in the prescribed formats. The cumulative contracted capacity shall be quoted in multiple of 10 MW only. The total contracted capacity to be allocated to a bidder including its Parent, Affiliate or Ultimate Parent or any Group Company shall be limited to 250 MW. Recently, SECI issued an RfS for 800 MW firm and dispatchable power from ISTS-connected Renewable Energy (RE) power projects (SECI-FDRE-III) under the Standard Bidding Guidelines.
