The 2000 MW Subansiri Lower Hydroelectric Project's largest spillway radial gates have been finished, according to city-based Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited. The project, which is situated
on the Subansiri River, which forms the border between Arunachal Pradesh and Assam, earned the business a contract worth Rs 350 crore. The power generation project will be completed in two phases and comprises of eight units, each having a capacity of 250 MW. Later this year, the 250 MW first unit is anticipated to be put into service.

In April, the three-high-head submerged Radial Gate became operational. According to hydraulic capacity, size, and weight, these radial gates are among the biggest spillway radial gates in the nation, according to Indrajit Mookherjee, vice chairman of Texmaco Rail & Engineering Limited.
