Serentica Renewables expands its green energy business and secures a 1.25 GW power delivery contract

Serentica Renewables, it has negotiated electricity delivery contracts worth more than 1.25 GW with numerous industrial clients. This comes after 580 MW of such contracts were signed in March. "Serentica will install 4 GW of renewable energy capacities across the nation to meet the constant green energy requirements of its consumers. The projects will use solar and wind energy, as well as balancing techniques like energy storage, the business stated.

In the states of Karnataka, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, and Rajasthan, where it has access to the interstate transmission system (ISTS), Serentica is installing these solar and wind facilities. The whole portfolio will provide more than 9 BUs of clean energy yearly, offsetting more than 9 BUs of non-clean energy, with the goal of accelerating the transition of hard-to-abate businesses to clean energy.
