Larsen & Toubro (L&T), a significant player in the construction industry, announced that it has won several contracts in the Middle East region totaling more than 7,000 crore rupees. According
to a statement from L&T, the scope of work includes engineering, procurement, construction, and installation for various new offshore facilities as well as integration with current installations. L&T wins "mega" contracts for its hydrocarbon business from a prestigious client in the Middle East, it said. According to its classification, orders of more than Rs 7,000 crore fall under the mega category.
"Securing these recurrent orders reflects customer satisfaction and is a testimonial to the client's faith in the team's focused efforts towards establishing and nurturing these skills," said Subramanian Sarma, Whole-Time Director and Senior Executive Vice President. In addition to EPC projects, Larsen & Toubro (L&T) also provides services and high-tech manufacturing. It is active in more than 50 nations.
