The International Copper Association (ICA), a worldwide organization, has chosen Hindalco Industries Ltd, a company from the Aditya Birla Group, as its latest member.
Hindalco Industries, a prominent producer of copper and aluminum, has been in operation since 1958 as the flagship metals company of the Aditya Birla Group. The company manufactures copper cathodes and continuous cast copper rods for both local and global marketplaces.
Rohit Pathak, CEO of Hindalco's Copper Business, stated in a press release, "We are excited to join ICA and collaborate with the global copper fraternity to develop the value chain for this critical metal for the world's net zero transition."
He specified that India will become one of the most dynamic centers for Copper and its products in the coming decades.
"We are excited to welcome Hindalco Industries to ICA as a key global industry player, sharing our vision to advance the future of human development," stated ICA President Juan Ignacio DA-az.
ICA is a nonprofit organization that embodies 50 percent of global copper production and has 33 members in six regions. The organization is headquartered in Washington and has operations in the US, Asia, Europe, and Latin America.
