Avaada Energy, a division of the sustainable energy company Avaada Group, announced on that it has won a 280 MW project through the
tariff-based competitive bidding process of Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (RUVNL). RUVNL will receive the solar energy produced by the project for 25 years at a cost of Rs 2.62 per unit. The factory will produce roughly 500 million units yearly, resulting in an annual reduction of 4,65,500 tonnes of carbon dioxide equivalent emissions. According to the firm, the project can supply 3.6 lakh homes with green energy when it is finished in 18 months.
