Shed light on the overall infrastructure at Tapflo? What are the machines and technology that the company has integrated in its overall operation line?
Manufacturing industrial pumps is a critical task. For example - machining a plastic is a complicated process because in case the feed is less the plastic would tend to shrink after the machining is done, and if over feeding the tool is done, then there will be a permanent deformation or a positive tolerance. Hence to overcome such criticalities and attain precision, we have installed a range of specialized and highly advanced machines in our manufacturing plant in Europe. We are proud to disclose that we even have the most advanced Mazak CNC machines, which are one of the best in its class.
The Indian set-up is mainly utilized for stocking, which involves partially assembled or pre assembled products. In India, we also have a facility to offer project based/Trunkey solutions which involves putting the pumps on the customized skids, instrumentation, automation integrated with PLCs. There is significant emphasis on Designing to order and customizing the pumps for specialized application .
In terms of workforce, we have established a perfect balance, wherein we maintain a 20-25 percent gender diversity. Moreover, we also have a 50-50 balance ratio in-between the experienced and young enthusiastic employees. The firm now has three dedicated verticals, which take care of the logistics, the front line (sales and marketing), and the operations (application engineering design, manufacturing & sourcing).
