Advanced system integration:
ZLD system normally consists of Stripper column, evaporator & ATFD / crystallizer.
• In ZLD system, install stripper column on MEE process condensate with least maintenance.
• Integrate ATFD vapours on Evaporator wherever possible.
It saves a lot on Steam. Steam to be supplied only to ATFD. MEE steam consumption will be Nil / minimal.
• TVR (Thermo Vapour Recompressor) in Evaporator saves on steam. However, even if the system is without TVR, almost 95 percent of steam condensate can be recycled back to boiler as feed water after possible heat recovery.
