Cement plants consume 10-15 percent, while the remainder serves diverse industries such as copper and nickel production. In 2020, the refractory industry in India was valued at approximately Rs.10,000 crores. Studies predict significant growth in this sector, driven by the expanding steel manufacturing sector. With steel production forecasted to reach 300 million tons by 2030, the refractory market is poised to become a Rs.20,000 crore industry. This remarkable growth represents a CAGR of around eight percent, showcasing opportunities in the coming decade”.

One of their notable achievements is the development of maintenance materials for RH Degassers, a critical component in the production of special-quality steel. By collaborating closely with clients like JSW Vijayanagar, they not only provided solutions but also forged lasting partnerships. A dedicated application team actively monitors and documents each aspect of their products' performance, leading to constant improvement.
Another milestone is their contribution to the manufacturing of Alloy Steels, essential for the automobile industry. Their development of a gunning mix for Energy Optimizing Furnaces (EOF) not only allowed them to enter this critical market but also reduced the reliance on imported products.
