What kind of impact has Enertech Healthcare been making in the global healthcare equipment market?
Enertech Healthcare is a subsidiary of Enertech Electronics, an organization that was founded in 1988 by Chetan Shah. The company has over 35 years of manufacturing background and has been involved in manufacturing diverse products other than medical equipment such as pharmaceutical equipment, laboratory equipment, industrial equipment, and aerospace equipment. In the healthcare equipment market, Enertech Healthcare is known to be the pioneer in the Indian healthcare industry, as far as digital electrosurgical systems are concerned, proper digital laparoscopic systems were introduced in India by Enertech Healthcare.
How does the equipment delivered by Enertech Healthcare stand out in the market in terms of technology and longevity?
At Enertech Healthcare, we have three basic segments of products - electrosurgical division (Ensurg 300, Ensurg 400, Ensurg 400 pro, Maxima,

Each of our divisions delivers top-quality products at extremely affordable prices. The specifications that are provided by top-level companies around the world, we are providing the same features and specifications in our equipment right here in India at a very fractional and affordable price. As a leader in the global healthcare equipment market, our goal is to promote affordable quality healthcare products to individuals and hospitals in this country.
During the inception of the company, what have been the primary challenges the company has faced and how has it overcome them?
In the beginning, we were into manufacturing electro-surgical equipment and had an OEM partnership with another company in India. With this, we entered the Indian medical industry. We faced our first challenge when our contract with the company expired and we had to develop the company’s entire infrastructure and marketing team independently and build our marketing channel in such a way that it could reach the entire domestic and international clientele. Though the time was extremely tumultuous for the company, we were able to overcome every roadblock successfully and establish its network across the country in a span of eight to ten months.
Tell us about the major milestones of the organization.
Our founder, Chetan Shah, is amongst the most prominent men behind the design and development of India’s first nuclear power technology which made the conduct of the implosion of the nuclear devices in Pokhran in 1998 a success. A major part of this technology was developed by him at Enertech, and transferred to the government of India as a service to the nation, due to which he was felicitated by then President Dr. Shankar Dayal Sharma at Rashtra-Pati Bhavan.
This has been the biggest success story of the organization. After that, we became the pioneer in developing many equipment in the ultrasonic industry and pharmaceutical industry. Since 2008, as we entered the medical industry, we have constantly tried to introduce the latest products with the latest specifications and features at a price that the Indian setup can absorb and afford.
