Kumar's journey into the aluminium foundry world began with a B.Tech degree from the National Institute of Foundry & Forge Technology Ranchi, followed by an MBA from Symbiosis Pune.
His insatiable appetite for learning led him to attend leadership and skill development programs, including rigorous training in methodologies such as Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, and JIPM (5S, Kaizen, Kanban, and TPM implementation). Over the years, Kumar has cemented his reputation as a versatile leader, having successfully managed functions spanning manufacturing, quality, engineering, and profit center operations. Before founding Altron Cast, Kumar served as the Plant Head of JJF Castings and Jay Iber (JP Minda Group). His exceptional leadership was evident in the initiation of greenfield projects, including a 1.2 million wheels (4W) per annum capacity project at JJF Castings. Kumar's remarkable journey also encompassed associations with renowned companies like Rico Auto, Enkei Cast Alloy, and Endurance Technology.
