It is these investments in people and technology that have helped Tasa achieve great heights but the journey has its own challenges. One of the major challenges that A.K. Sen faced while establishing and running the business was the shortage of skilled labor, lack of qualified and skilled engineers, and the need for more financial support through government incentives for MSMEs and SMEs. Make in India is a great initiative but there are still import machines that are being procured as scrap, reconditioned in India, and sold at premium prices which cannot be afforded by SoMe or MSME. This hampers the initiative.

Despite working on an import subsidy machine since 2000, A. K. Sen had not received any government incentives until his machine was displayed at the Indonesia Machine Tool Exhibition in 2019, for which he is thankful for the initiative of the EEPC through AIFM. The high cost of operating in government-approved industrial zones makes it difficult for industries to recover their costs. A. K. Sen recognizes this issue and suggests that the government must assess and provide incentives for relocating unauthorized area industries and offer support to See and MSME industries. Despite these challenges, A.K. Sen and Tasa have persisted in their efforts, and their journey of growth has been marked by determination, perseverance, and innovation in the face of numerous challenges.
