Angel One, a fintech company, announced the appointment of Anuprita Daga as its group CISO (chief information security officer) on Jan 8.
As Yes Bank's former CISO, Daga was instrumental in driving security practices across digital banking channels and products in order to provide secure banking services. According to Angel One, she has about 25 years of domain expertise in spearheading security transformation, establishing and implementing security strategy, managing data privacy, and ensuring adoption and compliance of regulatory and global standards in the banking and finance industry.
Daga's new responsibilities will include improving Angel One's information security, cyber security, and data privacy frameworks. She will also focus on developing, implementing, and enforcing strong security policies to protect customer sensitive information as well as sensitive information throughout the company.
